Sullivan & Guzman has an immediate opening for a part time Legal Assistant in Rancho Bernardo! Our firm specializes in family law and landlord/tenant law. In the beginning, you will be working on Wednesdays only, as this is a part time position. You must meet the California statutory requirements as a paralegal and hold a Certificate from an ABA approved Paralegal Program or hold a Bachelor's Degree and have a Declaration signed by an attorney that you have been supervised for more than two years in your prior law firm. These documents must be supplied at the time of your interview with our law firm. You will be primarily responsible for issuing and responding to discovery; drafting notices for non-payment of rent; and assisting attorneys in preparation for settlement hearings and trials.
